Job Description:
The Lead Clinician (LC) serves as the primary staff clinician for the Oasis Free Clinics, a nonprofit free medical and dental clinic serving low income, uninsured adults living in Midcoast Maine. This 32 hour/week professional provides continuity of care for Oasis patients who may also receive care from medical, dental, or mental health volunteers. In addition to providing clinical care, s/he will also be responsible for components of the clinical operations. We are looking for a nurse practitioner with preferably 5+ years experience and DEA license, who wants to work part time and enjoy the benefit of a small unhurried practice, seeing 10-14 patients per day. The work week is estimated to be 20 hours with some on-call responsibility. You must be able to work independently and also collaborate seamlessly with staff. -Part time position for those that need to balance home and work. -Wage competitive for level of experience. -Vacation time negotiable. -No night, weekend, or holiday office hours. -Due to part time nature of position, no medical or retirement benefits offered. -Malpractice and DEA registration costs will be covered.
